Morning: Lace those walking boots up and put your best foot forward as you get your short break in Yorkshire off to an energetic start! Head south from our holiday park to Spurn Point, a natural phenomenon that is situated on the north bank of the entrance to the River Humber. This national nature reserve is a spectacular place for a morning walk and great for wildlife lovers. Spurn Head is only 50 metres wide in place and is made up of a series of sand and shingle banks. As well as bracing walks on this spectacular stretch of coast, you can also enjoy fossil hunting here, with an abundance of fossils to be found.
Afternoon: Continuing the outdoors theme, head north from our park to Tunstall Beach. It is set among low, craggy cliffs and is ideal for beach combing or rock pooling!
Late afternoon / evening: A short drive from our Yorkshire Coast holiday park is the pretty town of Beverley. Here you can wander around the charming lanes, hidden passages and browse the many shops. Why not enjoy an evening meal while you’re here?
Morning: Head over to our leisure complex and enjoy a morning dip in the pool. Here there’s also a children’s wet play area, splashzone, sauna and steam room! What better way to start the day?
Afternoon: The vibrant city of Hull is only a short distance from our holiday park and is jam packed with things to do as well as many shops, bars and restaurants to visit. It has been named the UK’s City of Culture for 2017 and is well known as the home of poet Philip Larkin, the Ferens Gallery and the Hull Truck Theatre. One of Hull’s most popular visitor attractions is The Deep, one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world. It’s home to over 3,500 fish, amazing sharks and rays – well worth a visit!
Evening: There’s no need to venture too far in the evening, with an on-site restaurant serving up tasty dishes and pub classics as well as a bar where you can enjoy a quiet drink. For those wanting top class entertainment, then Sand Le Mere is the place to be. Throughout the season we host performances from household names and X Factor winners, including Shayne Ward and Sam Bailey!
Morning: A short drive up the coast is the pretty seaside town of Hornsea. It boasts a lovely sandy beach and busy promenade – and has plenty of attractions for the whole family! At the north end of the promenade, Hornsea’s Floral Hall stages festivals, concerts, plays and dances throughout the year. For those who like nothing more than indulging in some retail therapy – and picking up a bargain – then head over to the Hornsea Freeport Shopping Village nearby!
