Fishing holidays in Yorkshire

Sand le Mere Holiday Village is a fantastic location for fishing holidays in Yorkshire. Whether you are vastly experienced or casting out for the first time, our park is perfect for anglers of all abilities.

We have our own well-stocked fishing lake on park, and the coast from Bridlington to Spurn Point is popular with beach anglers – in fact it’s so good, Sand le Mere hosts the prestigious annual European Beach Fishing Championships!

Fishing holidays in Yorkshire: Fishing on our park

Our pretty fishing lake is maintained by the team of angling enthusiasts at Sand le Mere Fishing Club who ensure it stays in top condition year-after-year.

To fish at our lake you’ll need a rod licence which you can buy from the post office. Fishing costs from only £5 per day or £20 per week. Simply go down to the lake and take a peg and the warden will visit you for payment.

We have a bait and tackle shop to make it even easier for anglers to stock up with the essentials before a day spent fishing for the carp (we have some 25lb whoppers), perch and roach.
