There are a great range of excellent cycling routes in east Yorkshire allowing you to explore the local area at your own pace. From easy routes for families and new riders to more challenging routes for the more advanced, there really is something for everyone. Don’t worry if you didn’t bring your wheels with you! There are multiple cycle hire facilities just a short distance from our holiday park.
Beverly is an historic market town in the heart of east Yorkshire. Surrounded by quaint villages and great scenery, set up to cater for cyclists with some great facilities. Beverly is a super spot for a cycle. The beautiful routes is made up of dedicated cycle routes and quiet local roads, treating you to some spectacular scenery at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds. This steady/ challenging cycling route in east Yorkshire is 19 miles long or 12 miles if you take the optional shortcut. Cycle out of Beverly heading north towards Cherry Burton. From here cycle on to Etton and South Dalton to them make your way back to Beverly. This is a wonderful route to explore, just one of three great cycle rides near Beverly.

This picturesque market town is surrounded by great scenery and quaint country villages. The town has an extensive secure cycle parking, facilities, toilets and numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants to replenish yourself in after a ride. One of the easy routes is a short 4.5-mile ride along flat terrain- great for families. Cycle North out of Pocklington, towards Bridlington, create your loop in Broad Ings before you head back into Pocklington.
This bustling coastal town is home to sandy beaches, award winning promenades, a 900 year old working harbour and a Highstreet teaming with ancient buildings. There are plenty of local pubs, cafes and restaurants perfect to refuel tired cyclists. The town is home to 6 cycle routes in easy Yorkshire of varying difficulty. The easy 1.5 mile route is perfect for new riders or families. Making use of quiet roads and a seafront off-road cycle route along the North promenade. Although, the promenade does get crowded by pedestrians and the land train during the summer months so please take care.

Settled to the east of the Yorkshire Wolds, 12 miles from the north sea coast. Surrounded by pretty villages, this market town is a great spot for cycling. Each of the 5 routes through Driffield vary in difficulty to cater to each ability. For more experienced riders, you can enjoy a challenging 32 mile ride, taking on long climbs to reach impressive views from the top of the Wolds. This route takes you through Hutton, towards Southburn, Tibthorpe and Wetwang village.
